My name is Dawn Farrell I have been a seamstress since 1985 and my sewing workshop has been established at Lady Heyes offering clothing alterations, bridal and prom alterations and making curtains, blinds and soft furnishings from customers own fabrics since 2004.
I love a challenge and no job is too small or unusual so if you need any help just give me a call or an email or contact me on facebook.

I have a level 6 qualification in British sign language and am able to support any BSL users with alterations and one to one sewing lessons.

Over the years I have worked for various companies who made garments for many high street stores including M&S, BHS, and principles... I have also been trained in Bridal and curtain making so can turn my hand to most things, I love a challenge and have built up a loyal client base since 2004.

I am available in the workroom Tuesday to Friday between 11am and 4pm for drop off and collections, please call ahead to make an appointment for a fitting during these hours and all other times, including weekends and evenings by appointment only.

we have a small amount of fabrics available to compliment your lesson with a 10% discount for sewing students.
